The first single from Nicolas Baldeyrou’s new album is now available on all streaming platforms. This release marks the second volume of an ambitious collaboration with Alpha Classics, dedicated to recording Mozart’s entire clarinet repertoire on authentic period instruments. Following the critical success of Volume 1—which earned glowing reviews from The Guardian and Gramophone—this new chapter dives deeper into the composer's historical soundscapes.

On March 22, clarinetist Nicolas Baldeyrou made his debut at Amsterdam’s Muziekgebouw as part of the Ragged Music Festival, a project founded by pianists Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy.

As part of the "The Rites" program, Baldeyrou performed alongside a group of international soloists in works including Messiaen’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps. The concert marked a successful collaboration within the festival’s unique atmospheric setting, bringing together the ensemble for this special project in the Netherlands.

On April 4 and 5, clarinetist Nicolas Baldeyrou made his debut with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall.

Under the direction of Maestro Tadaaki Otaka, Baldeyrou performed Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. The performances were met with immense success, as the Tokyo audience warmly received Baldeyrou’s virtuosic interpretation and seamless collaboration with the orchestra.

The Philharmonie de Paris recently hosted the latest edition of La Musikfest, the chamber music festival founded in 2020 by violinist Liya Petrova. Since its inception, the festival has gained acclaim for bringing together world-class musicians for exceptional collaborative performances.

This year’s event took place at the prestigious Grand Salle Pierre Boulez. Nicolas Baldeyrou joined the festival for the closing concert to perform Beethoven’s Septet, served as a fitting finale for the festival, highlighting the high level of artistry that Petrova’s annual event continues to deliver to the Parisian public.
